Research note

NAD+ prices are easier to find than proof of longevity benefits.

Separate the package, the route and the evidence.

Start with the category itself

NAD+ is a coenzyme, not a peptide. Providers market injectable, nasal and topical preparations with very different package sizes and prices. A cellular role in metabolism does not establish that a purchased preparation improves fatigue, cognition or lifespan for a healthy person. Those are clinical outcome questions, not conclusions that follow from the ingredient’s name.

Preserve the vial size and billing period

Eden lists separate 500 mg and 1,000 mg injection options. Strut’s wellness catalog lists a 500 mg package at $149 without establishing the refill interval for every prescription in that catalog entry. CoreAge Rx uses a starting monthly figure. These are different levels of pricing detail. A calculator should not invent a monthly duration to fill the missing field.

Sterile preparation adds a quality question

FDA has warned about ingredients unsuitable for sterile compounding and reports involving NAD+ injectable drugs. Reported reactions included severe chills, shaking, vomiting and fatigue, with some requiring medical treatment. The FDA statement is not a finding about the providers in our comparison. It explains why ingredient suitability, sterility and dispensing information matter independently of price.

A useful consultation checklist

Ask what evidence supports the proposed use, what benefit would be measured, what alternatives exist and what the risks are. For the commercial side, obtain the concentration, package amount, supply period, total charge and renewal terms. Do not infer that a nasal product is equivalent to an injection or that a larger vial should be used more quickly to improve value.
