Telehealth · public-source review

LifeMD, in detail.

A separately priced care program: $39 initially, then $149 per month, with medication outside that figure.

A review of public information. No hands-on testing, laboratory inspection or medical review is claimed.

The membership is the thing being priced

LifeMD’s weight-management page advertises care from $39 for the first month and $149 per month thereafter. It explicitly excludes medication. We list this as care only, not a $149 semaglutide or tirzepatide supply, because a reader still needs an insurance or self-pay medication quotation.

What the care description includes

The page describes clinician consultations, coaching, prescribing when appropriate and insurance assistance. It also describes required lab work as included if the required tests have not been completed in the preceding twelve months. Confirm which tests and services are covered in the chosen plan rather than treating every possible diagnostic bill as included.

Build two lines into the budget

Keeping the advertised care rate unchanged for a year would give $39 plus eleven payments of $149, or $1,678 for care alone. This is an illustrative annual sum, not a prepaid plan quote and not the medication total. A change in insurance, medicine, dose or plan pricing changes the actual budget.

Our assessment

Separating care from medication makes the advertised rate understandable and allows comparison with another prescribing service. The public page says the program can be canceled, but readers should verify the timing and any already-incurred medication charges. A care membership does not guarantee insurance approval, a particular prescription or a clinical outcome.
